Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have established safety protocols in order that both our clients and staff will be safe.
Please call for an appointment. An appointment can be scheduled during our normal office hours are from 8:30am to 5pm (Monday – Friday).
Please where a mask and exercise social distancing whenever possible (unless medical conditions prohibit mask wearing).
Please be aware that Lyn-CAG pre-screens all clients prior to appointments (clients are subject to temperature check and COVID related questions)
Employment Training program offers training in job search skills, resume writing, certified nursing assistant training, medical technician training, and basic computer skills.
Emergency Assistance & Crisis Intervention
The Emergency Assistance Program (EACI) provides financial assistance to individuals and families faced with loss of a utility service or actual eviction from their homes due to economic hardship.
The Gateway Program
The Gateway is a residential recovery program for homeless men in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. The Gateway provides transitional housing for a maximum of 24 men at any given time.
Housing Counseling Services
The Lyn-CAG Housing Counseling Services Department offers an array of services whose objectives are to expand homeownership opportunities, assist clients who are facing homelessness and provide improved access to affordable housing.
Children & Family Services
The Head Start Program provides preschool education services to children from low to moderate income families who are 3 to 4 years of age.
Virginia CARES was founded in 1978 as a statewide, community-based effort to assist prison inmates and newly released parolees in creating a smooth transition from prison back into society.
